Lesson 3 - On to the resurrection...

Tonight was a lot of fun. I beat Tim to meeting 3. James and I hung out and talked. He began by telling me about an experience at work today. Two of his coworkers had a religious discussion. One was rather belligerent toward Christianity. The other just wanted to say the right thing to help the other believe. He showed enough wisdom to stay out of the discussion. When Tim arrived, we began the lesson.

We read 1 Corinthians 15 together. It's funny. There's this moment when reading scripture when someone feels like he needs to read way too much. After reading, we walked through the lesson. Went well. As we talked, James said that he could not imagine a more valuable passage to read following the events at work.

After looking at the passage, we talked through the 4 facts about the resurrection. Then we learned how to God's story. James was very receptive, but because he was not familiar with the verses, that was kind of a struggle. I need to think that through.

After the lesson, we went to Fuzzy's for tacos. Eat whatever is set before you, right?

We still need to be praying about adding some people to the group. Our second group cancelled this week but will be back next week. There are two more possible groups on the horizon. Father, open our eyes to the harvest you are making ready!
